Queen sono (2020)
Thriller | Netflix
Queen Sono is a child of a South African radical that was murdered in front of her. Queen grows up with the pain of her mother being murdered, while trying to find the truth all while being an agent for the same country that doesn’t tell her the truth. She struggles with the internal battle of whether or not she wants to go full into the truth or not. Season ends with so many questions left in the air and with Netflix cancelling the series those questions will remain unsolved.
My Opinion: The whole season you try to get an understanding of Queen. I feel in love with how she really was torn by past actions and trying to stay sane while doing it. Recommend watching this with your significant other. Seeing a badass doing unbelievable things is always thrilling. 4/5
utopia falls (2020)
Sci-Fi | Hulu
In a post apocalyptic setting where class systems are based upon this performance arts competition, a group of teens find a underground bunker that gives them all the answers they’re looking for. Snoop Dogg’s appearance is a very interesting but welcoming feeling in the show that gives you a sort of mystery to him. The group of teens have to navigate whether the norms should be followed or not believe anything they were told their whole lives. (Season 2 still in the air, multiple sources says it has been cancelled. Can watch in one weekend)
My Opinion: I felt some characters were there as filler but the characters you do take an interest but the end of the season you are begging for more. 4/5
misfits (2009)
Sci-Fi | Pluto TV , Hulu, Tubi, Amazon Video
5 Teens who are brought together by community service are struck by lightning in a random thunderstorm and they all wake up with super powers. Each season the teens go on crazy adventures with new characters/ powers being added each season. You will definitely recognize some characters in the show. The story also gets interesting with each season ending with a big boss type character.
My Opinion: If you love wacky characters and random super heroes this one’s for you. I loved every single hero in each season due to the writing of the characters. Definitely recommend if you want something to binge for a long holiday weekend. 5/5
the rain (2018)
Drama | Netflix
Dutch teenager Simone is at school discussing a test with her friends when her father runs in and says they have to go because something bad is about to happen. The world is about to end due to a virus carried in the rain, and 6 years later Simone and her younger brother Rasmus emerge from their bunker where they have to navigate through good and evil. In this post apocalyptic world you will meet characters that have faced this new problem and have found unique ways to deal with the new world.
My Opinion: Simone is definitely a badass but she gets a little lost in the sauce. My favorite character is Rasmus, he goes from a scared timid little boy to a whole goon (you’ll see). I loved this show from the first 5 minutes to the ending of the series when I was begging for a new season. 4.5/5

Ava has to learn about her new future as the warrior nun while trying to learn about her past life and how she died in the first place. The story is so engulfing that when the ending twist happens you really say “Holy S#!T”.
My Opinion: Definitely a watch now series. You may watch to binge soon because season 2 will be dropping fall of 2022. Action Scenes are the best in the series. 4.5/5

In the chaos of the seasons you will follow a team of 5 trying to figure out their real mission and their fake lives.

see (2019)
Sci-Fi | Apple TV
Baba Voss (Jason Momoa) must do everything in his power to save and protect his twin children in this far future where everyone in mankind is blind. The people who have sight are hunted and killed.
My Opinion: Jason Momoa never disappoints. His performance in this show alone makes him underrated in my book. Season 2 is definitely better than season 1 with action but season 1’s story is tremendous. The pacing is slow so you gonna have to get used to that but the action scenes are incredible. If you don’t believe me watch the first 10 minutes of the first episode you will get hooked. 5/5
